Founder & Managing Director

Founder and Managing Director of BUCOF. Remi Baneras brings 19 years across construction delivery, project controls and finance, including NorthConnex, WestConnex and Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport.

He uses this domain expertise to build practical tools around the decisions, workflows and financial pressures construction teams face every day.

Volodymyr Katanskyi

CTO & Co-founder

Volodymyr has 15 years of building software products and leading the teams behind them. He founded StartupCraft and grew it to 65 engineers, helping build more than 150 projects for clients including Fortune 100 companies. He leads the technical development of BUCOF Capture, working with Remi and the engineering and design team.

  1. A delivery arrives. Someone signs the docket. But the engineer, cost administrator and finance team still need the information behind that signature.

How we started

From project controls to software.

  1. 2016

    NorthConnex and WestConnex

    Remi moves to Sydney with Bouygues Construction and works in project deliveries on two motorway tunnels.

  2. 2022

    Sydney Metro

    Associate Director of Project Controls across Western Sydney Airport, City & Southwest and Metro West.

  3. 2025

    BUCOF founded

    Remi starts BUCOF in Sydney to close the gap between site delivery and corporate.

  4. 2026

    BUCOF Capture

    Volodymyr joins as CTO and co-founder, and Capture is built for delivery teams on site.
